How to Set Up Novell GroupWise on an Android

1. Determine your organization’s IMAP server address, IMAP port, SMTP server address and SMTP port. Contact your organization’s GroupWise server administrators if you can’t find this information.

2. Press the “Home” button on your Android device and tap the “Email” app icon on the home screen.

3. Tap the “Next” button on the Account screen to add a new account.

4. Type your GroupWise email address and password into the boxes and tap “Next.”

5. Tap the “IMAP” account type.

6. Type your GroupWise account’s name and password into the name and password boxes, then type your organization’s GroupWise IMAP server address and port into the appropriate boxes. Tap “Next” to continue.

7. Type your organization’s GroupWise SMTP server address and port into the boxes on the outgoing server settings screen and tap “Next.”

8. Tap the “Email Check Frequency” box, select how often you want to check for new emails and tap “Next.”

9. Type your name into the Display Name box and tap “Next.” The email application sends this name with each email message you send.
