How to Take an HTC TP2 Make It an Android Phone

1. Download the appropriate Android files to put on your HTC Touch Pro 2. Three packages available for download include base files, kernel images and configuration text files.

2. Press and hold the power button on your HTC phone. Turn over the phone and remove the protective cover and battery. Slide out the memory card, which is located on the top-right hand corner.

3. Insert the memory card into the right slot on your computer. Use a memory card reader if your computer does not have a memory card slot. Connect the memory card reader to your computer's available USB port with its USB cable.

4. Transfer the files from your computer to your memory card. You may drag and drop the files, but you may right-click them and select 'Copy To.'

5. Remove the memory card. Press and hold the power button to reboot your phone. Launch the application from the 'Start' menu. This will allow you to run Android on your HTC Touch Pro 2.
