Picasa Is Not Showing Up on Android
Uploading to Picasa
To upload photos to Picasa from your Android device, select a photo from your Android photo gallery. Tap the 'Menu' button and select the 'Share' option. Tap 'Picasa.' Your Android device will prompt you to enter your Google account information for Picasa. Enter your Google email address and password and tap the 'Sign In' button. Tap 'Upload' to upload the selected photograph to Picasa.
Picasa Web Albums
You can access Picasa Web Albums directly from Android's mobile Web browser. Tap the 'Web Browser' icon and search for Picasa Web Albums. Open the Web page and if you are not already logged into Google, enter your Google email address and tap 'Sign In' to access your Picasa account. Picasa will display all uploaded Web Albums. Tap a Web Album to view photos in the selected album. Tap an individual photo to display the full image.
Third-Party Android Applications
You can also install several third-party Picasa applications on your Android from the Android Market. Tap the 'Android Market' icon and select the 'Search' option. Enter the name for the Picasa application in the search bar. Examples of Picasa applications include, PicasaTool, Picasa Mobile and Mobile Web Picasa. Select the Picasa application and tap the 'Install' button. Tap 'Confirm' to download and install the Picasa application on your Android.
Picasa Features
Picasa features the ability to view, organize and store your digital photographs in a cloud. Additionally, Picasa allows you to manipulate photographs using basic editing functions. Picasa is a free service, but allows only 1GB of free image uploading. After surpassing this limit, you can purchase additional paid storage from Google up to 16 terabytes.
