How to Get Rid of Superuser Permissions on an EVO With a Mac



1. Connect the HTC EVO to your Mac using the USB cable that came with the phone. The phone detects the connection and prompts you to mount it.

2. Tap 'Mount' on the EVO and Mac will mount it as a new device.

3. Launch the Finder on your Mac and you will immediately notice the new device in the Devices list.

4. Select the new device and the contents of your HTC EVO are displayed in the middle pane.

5. Open the 'Android' folder, open the 'System' folder' and then the 'App' folder.

6. Locate the superuser.apk file.

7. Drag and drop superuser.apk onto the trash can icon to delete the file from your phone.

8. Disconnect the HTC EVO from the Mac and reboot it to complete superuser permissions removal.
