How to Change the Settings on the ADW Droid Theme

1. Install ADW Launcher from the Android Market.

2. Download the APK file of the theme you want to install onto your phone. Several themes are available through sites such as Droid Pirate and Android Zoom, and ADW themes are available in the Android Market. If you download a theme from the market, skip to Step 4.

3. Browse to the downloaded APK file on your SD card with your favorite Android file browser and tap it to install it. You may need to adjust your settings to allow you to install non-market applications.

4. Push the Home button on your Android phone and select ADW Launcher from the list of launchers.

5. Push the Menu button and tap the 'More' option and 'ADWSettings.' Tap the 'Theme Settings' and choose your new theme from the list of themes available.

6. Make any other adjustments to your theme in the available settings. Your options are, 'Screen Preferences,' 'Drawer Settings,' 'General Behavior,' 'System Preferences' and 'UI Settings.' They cover a huge range of settings about how your phone behaves and the options for personalizing it within your theme. Different themes offer different options within these settings.

7. Tap the 'Back' button to go back to the Home screen and watch the changes take effect.
