Wiping the Memory Card

1. Open your phone's 'Settings' menu, and then tap 'SD card & phone storage.'

2. Tap 'Unmount SD card.'

3. Select 'Format SD card,' and then tap 'Format SD card' to confirm that you wish to delete all the contents of the memory card in your Android phone.

Performing a Factory Reset

4. Press your phone's 'Back' button to return to the 'Settings' menu, and then tap 'Privacy.'

5. Tap 'Factory data reset.'

6. Press the 'Reset phone' button, and then tap 'Erase everything' to wipe your Android device and return it to its factory state.
