How to Download Movies From YouTube Onto Android



1. Access YouTube on your computer and select a video to download to your Android mobile phone. Copy the video's URL.

2. Access a YouTube video converter such as KeepVid, Save YouTube or Savevid. Paste the video's URL in the field indicated on the website. Click “Download” to begin the conversion.

3. Click “Download MP4” when prompted. Wait for the video to be downloaded to your computer. Open the folder containing the converted video.

4. Connect your Android mobile phone to the computer with a USB cable. Touch “Turn on USB Storage” when prompted. A window with options for the Android will open on the computer.

5. Click “Open Folder to View Files” to open your phone's folder on the computer.

6. Right-click a blank space in the folder and click “New.” Click “Folder” and enter “Videos” as its name. Open the newly created “Videos” folder.

7. Drag the downloaded YouTube movie to the phone's “Videos” folder. Drop the movie in the folder to copy it onto your Android phone. As it is transferred to your phone, a dialog window documenting its progress is displayed on your computer's screen.

8. Disconnect your Android phone from the computer.
