How to Make Android Widgets Sync Manually

1. Open the application list and tap 'Settings.'

2. Scroll down then tap 'Accounts & Sync.'

3. Tap the box next to 'Auto Sync' to deselect the feature. This stops your connected accounts from automatically syncing.

4. Tap the account you want to manually sync beneath 'Manage Accounts.'

5. Tap 'Sync Account' to sync the account manually. Some accounts, such as a Google account, have multiple sections available, such as contacts, email and calendar. You will need to tap each section individually if this is the case.
