How to Change the MMS.APK in an Android
1. Tap the 'menu' button on your Android phone, and then tap the 'Settings' option.
2. Tap the 'Applications' option.
3. Enable the check mark next to 'Unknown sources' by tapping on it. This allows you to install applications from sources outside of the Android Market, and is necessary to complete the process.
4. Open the MMS.apk application, either from a website, from an email message (if it was sent to you as an attachment) or from the storage on your phone (if you transferred it there yourself).
5. Tap the 'Yes' button when the dialog box that asks, 'MMS.apk already exists. Would you like to overwrite it?' appears.
6. Restart your Android smartphone after the installation.
