How to Print From Android Using Wi
1. Connect to the Wi-Fi network that the printer is on. This can be done by tapping 'Settings,' then 'Wireless & networks,' then 'Wi-Fi Settings.' Tap the network name and enter in the password for the network if prompted to.
2. Visit the Android market and download a free printing application. Free apps available for printing on the Android using Wi-Fi include PrinterShare free, Cloud Print and HP iPrint Photo for compatible HP printers. A variety of paid printing applications also include Print and PrinterShare Premium.
3. Launch the printing application that you downloaded in Step 2.
4. Select the type of file you want to print. This can be a picture on your SD card, a Web page, calendar, contacts, email or any other document on your phone.
5. Select your printer and select the paper size for the printer in the 'Print Options.' Most printers have letter-size paper.
6. Tap the 'Print' icon to print from Android using Wi-Fi.
