How to Open an Android SD Card on a Desktop

1. Connect your Android phone to your PC via its included USB cable.

2. Slide the notification tray down and tap on the 'USB connected' alert in the 'Ongoing' section.

3. Tap on the 'Turn on USB storage' button, then tap 'OK' to confirm your decision. This mounts your Android phone's SD card as an external drive on your PC. After a few seconds, the Windows AutoPlay window appears, allowing you to choose between opening the SD card folder, importing pictures from the SD card and more.
