How to Flag a Folder as Hidden From Android
1. Tap the 'Market' icon on your Android phone and locate and install a file management app. Many free options are available, including Astro File Manager, ES File Explorer and Adao File Manager. They all work the same way, so install whichever one you want.
2. Pull down the notifications bar when the app finishes installing and tap the icon for the file management app. You will see a list of folders on your SD card.
3. Tap folders to navigate through them and find the folder you want to hide.
4. Press down on the folder that you want to hide until a menu pops up. Tap 'Rename' in the menu.
5. Add a period before the folder name and press 'OK.' For example, if the folder was named 'Test,' rename it '.Test' to hide it.
