Google Voice is a free application that’s around 2 megabytes in size. It requires Android 1.6 or later and has been downloaded more than 1 million times, at the date of publication.

Visual Voicemail Plus features caller-specific greetings, email notifications for new voicemail, the ability to forward and share your voicemail like email, message transcription and a call-blocking tool to prevent unwanted callers from leaving you voice messages. It also provides the same services for incoming faxes. Visual Voicemail Plus is a free application that’s around 500 kilobytes in size. It requires Android 1.5 or later.
T-Mobile Visual Voicemail
As its name implies, T-Mobile Visual Voicemail is a visual voicemail application designed specifically for T-Mobile customers. Its features include one-click responding, visual inbox management and the ability to listen to messages in any order you’d like. The app has a built-in voice-to-text converter compatible with both English and Spanish. T-Mobile Visual Voicemail is a free application that’s about 800 KB in size. It requires Android 1.6 or later.
YouMail Visual Voicemail Plus
YouMail Visual Voicemail Plus lets you play and scroll through your voicemail inbox on any Android-powered device. Its additional features include visual caller ID, a call-blocking tool and visual voicemail folder organization. The application is free to download, but a small monthly fee applies if you’d like YouMail Visual Voicemail Plus to email you a transcription of new voicemail messages. The app is about 570 KB in size. It requires Android 2.1 or later.
