How to Make a RAR Folder

1. Open the WinRAR download page at WinRAR.com and download a version of the program that is compatible with your computer. For example, if you want to download WinRAR for Windows select 'WinRAR' from the drop-down menu and click 'Download.'

2. Double-click the WinRAR file to install the program. Click 'Install' to proceed with and finish the install process. WinRAR comes with a fully functional 30-day trial. This means that you don't have to pay to use the program for 30 consecutive days after installation. If at the end of the 30 days you aren't satisfied with the program, you don't have to buy it.

3. Reboot your computer to finish installing WinRAR.

4. Right-click on your desktop.

5. Select 'New.' Click 'WinRAR Archive' to create a new RAR folder on your desktop.
