How to Pass the oDesk Readiness Test
1. Sign up for an account at the oDesk website.
2. Download oDesk Team software. To pass the readiness test, you must show a minimum proficiency of being familiar with the oDesk Team software. ODesk Team software is the mechanism by which your work hours are tracked. It's free and it's one of the necessary steps for passing the oDesk test.
3. To increase the chances you'll pass your oDesk test, access the training Team room. Although it is not mandatory for passing the oDesk readiness test, but the training Team room helps you to become more familiar with the Team software.
4. Read the information on the oDesk test topics. Once you set up your account, make sure to read all of the information that will be included in the oDesk readiness test. It's quite a bit of information, but it's worth a read. Not only is it important for passing the oDesk test, the information helps you to get the most out of oDesk.
5. Open a new browser window. Since the oDesk test is an open book test, it's best to have more than one browser window open. Use one window for taking the actual test and the other window for searching for answers.
6. Steady your nerves. As with any type of tests, it's best to approach the oDesk test in a calm relaxed manner. Remember, this is an open book test so there is no need to be nervous.
7. Take the oDesk test. Now that you've downloaded Team software, read the information, have your browser window open, and are calm and relaxed there's nothing to stop you from passing the oDesk readiness test.
