How to Transfer Apps to an Android by USB
1. Connect your computer and smartphone together with the USB data cable. The smaller connector goes to the phone, while the full sized USB plugs into your computer.
2. Tap 'USB Connected' and 'USB Mass Storage' on your phone once the notification that you're connected through USB lights up.
3. Click 'Start' on your computer. Click 'Computer.' Open your cellphone's SD card through the icon in 'Computer.'
4. Open another Explorer window and go to the .apk file location. Drag and drop these files on to your SD card.
5. Disconnect your phone. Tap the Applications button. Go to 'Files' or open the file managing application you are using to control the data on the smart phone. Tap 'SD Card.' Tap the folders until you reach the location that contains the .apk file. Tap it.
6. Tap 'Settings' on the warning window. Add a check to the box labeled 'Unknown sources.' Go back to your application's folder location and tap it once more. Now the app installs on your system.
