How to Sync Firefox With Android



Installing Firefox on Android

1. Turn on your phone and slide the unlock tab down or to the right to unlock the screen. Press the 'Home' button.

2. Tap the application drawer. Tap 'Market.' Press the 'Search' button and type 'Firefox.' Tap 'Go.'

3. Tap 'Mozilla Firefox Web Browser' (with 'Mozilla' in the publisher label.) Tap 'Free.' Tap 'OK.' Wait for the app to download.

Setting up the Sync

4. Switch to your computer. Start Firefox. Press the 'Alt' button, and then click 'Tools,' and then click 'Options.' Click 'Sync.'

5. Click 'Set up Firefox Sync.' Click 'Create a New Account.' Enter your email address and choose a password. Click the check-box, then click 'Next.'

6. Copy the Sync key to a word processing program, or simply write it down on a piece of paper. Click 'Next' and enter the captcha code. Click 'OK.' Switch to your phone.

7. Press the 'Home' button, then open the application drawer. Tap 'Firefox.' Press the 'Menu' button an tap 'Preferences.'

8. Under 'Sync,' slide the tab to the 'On' position. Tap 'Connect.' Switch to your computer.

9. Press 'Alt.' Click 'Tools' and 'Options' again. Click 'Sync.' Click 'Add a device.'

10. Enter the three-part code on your Android phone's screen. Click 'Next.' Click 'Finish.' Your desktop bookmarks will now appear in your Android phone's Firefox browser.
