How to Turn Off Email Sounds in the Droid

1. Tap the applications icon on your home screen and select 'Email' from the applications list.

2. Press the menu button on your phone, then select 'Settings.'

3. Tap 'Select Ringtone' under the 'Notification settings' section and choose 'Silent' from the list of ringtone options. Press 'OK' to save your settings.
