How to Get My G1 to Work Without Signing Into Google

1. Press and hold the red 'End' key on the right side of the phone. When the T-Mobile logo appears, release the key.

2. Wait until the screen shows the picture of the Android and says, 'Touch the Android to Begin.' Touch in the upper left-hand corner of the screen and then tap in the upper right-hand corner of the screen.

3. Tap the screen in the lower-right just above the gray button that says 'Change Language.' Touch the black area of the screen in the lower-left just above the gray 'Emergency Dial' button. This will bypass the Android login and let you use the phone without a Google account.
