How to Record Your Voice for an Alarm Clock on the Android



1. Download and install a voice recorder application for your Android device through the Android Market. Voice Recorder, Virtual Recorder, AL Voice Recorder and Hi-Q MP3 Recorder (Lite) are four popular free voice recording apps. Any of these will work for recording your voice.

2. Launch the voice recorder application that you downloaded in step 1 by tapping the icon.

3. Tap the “Record” button in the application to begin recording your voice. Tap the “Stop” button and then tap “Save” to save the recording.

4. Tap the “All Applications” icon on the bottom of your Android device’s screen.

5. Press the “Menu” button, and then tap “Add Alarm.”

6. Tap the “Sound” icon. Tap “MP3” when asked what sound to select.

7. Tap the name of the voice recording that you recorded in step 3.

8. Select the time and day(s) for your alarm. Tap “Done” to complete the process of recording your voice for an alarm clock on the Android device.
