How to Convert JAR JAD to ALX ALI



1. Open the Web browser on your computer and navigate to the 'us.blackberry.com/developers/javaappdev/javadevenv.jsp' webpage. Click on the 'BlackBerry JDE v7.1' link. Click on the 'Download' button to download the BlackBerry Integrated Development Environment.

2. Double-click on the executable you just downloaded and follow the instructions you see on your screen to install the environment.

3. Use the Web browser to navigate to 'softpedia.com/get/Internet/Telephony-SMS-GSM/JADMaker.shtml' and click on the 'Download' button. Click on a mirror to download the converter.

4. Right-click on the 'JADMaker.zip' archive and select the 'Extract All' option. Select a folder where to extract the tool and click on the 'Extract' button.

5. Go to the 'Start' menu and click on the 'Computer' icon to start the file browser. Navigate to the folder where you extracted the JADMaker tool and double-click on the 'JADMaker.exe' file to start the tool.

6. Locate the JAR file and drag it to the JADMaker window. The JAR is automatically converted to a JAD file. You can find the JAD file in the folder where JADMaker is installed.

7. Navigate to 'wizzzdeveloppement.free.fr' and click on the 'Download' button in the navigation bar at the top of the website. Click on the Windows logo in the 'GiveMeYourJad 1.2.1 (04/10/2011)' section and save the executable on your hard disk.

8. Double-click on the installer you just downloaded and follow the simple on-screen instructions to install the GiveMeYourJad converter.

9. Click on the 'GiveMeYourJad' icon in the 'Start' menu to start the converter. Click on the 'Convert' button at the top of the window. The 'JAD to ALX' conversion window appears.

10. Click on the 'Browse' button and use the resulting file browser to highlight the JAD file you created earlier. Click on the 'Open' button to select the file. Click on the 'Confirm' button to start converting the JAD file to an ALX file. The ALX file is saved in the folder where the JAD file resides.
