How to Stream My Music to My Android Phone



Amazon's Cloud Drive

1. Go to Amazon.com and select the 'Cloud Player for Web' from the 'MP3s & Cloud Player' tab.

2. Sign up for the service using your Amazon.com account.

3. Click 'Upload Music' and select the music you wish to add to the service, or allow it to automatically search for songs.

4. Download 'Amazon MP3' from the Android Market on your phone.

5. Open the app and tap 'Player.' Sign in to your Amazon account.

6. Tap the music selection you want to play.

Gmote

7. Download the Gmote Server from Gmote.org/server.

8. Create a password and add your music folder to the server by clicking 'Add Path.'

9. Download 'Gmote' from the Android App store on your phone.

10. Connect your phone to your Wi-Fi network.

11. Open the Gmote app.

12. Select the server from the list. This will be titled after your computer's name.

13. Tap 'Browse' and navigate to your music folder. Tap a song to begin playing it.

VLC Media Player.

14. Download and install VLC Media Player from videolan.org.

15. Open VLC Media Player and select 'View' > 'Add Interface' > 'Web Interface.'

16. Find your computer's IP address by clicking 'Start' > 'Programs' > 'Accessories' > 'Command Prompt.' Type 'ipconfig' in the command prompt and hit 'Enter.' Note the IP address for later.

17. Download 'VLC Stream and Connect' from the Android Market on your phone.

18. Connect your phone to your Wi-Fi network.

19. Open 'VLC Stream and Connect.'

20. Tap the 'Menu' button and select 'Connect.' Enter the computer's IP address and tap 'Connect.'

21. Tap the 'Browse' tab and navigate to the music you wish to play. Tap a song to begin playing.
