How to Test GPRS Speed

1. Open the web browser on your cellular telephone. Navigate to 'SpeedTest' in the search bar (see Resources.) Select a location as close to your current location as possible. The closer the location selected, the more accurate the speed test results will be. Select the 'Begin Test' option. Wait while the speed of your GPRS Internet connection is tested. When the process is complete, the website will display your up-speed and your down-speed.

2. Go to 'Speakeasy' in the web browser on your cell phone by typing the web address in the search bar (see Resources.) Select one of the available locations to begin the speed test. The website will test your GPRS Internet connection, and it will display your up-speed and your down-speed upon test completion.

3. Open the web browser on your cellular telephone, and then navigate to the 'Bandwidth Place' website (see 'Resources.') Click the 'Start Test' button. Wait while the speed of your GPRS Internet connection is tested. Your up-speed and your down-speed will be displayed upon the test's completion.
