How to Sync EGroupware on an Android



1. Press the 'Menu' button on your Android phone and tap 'Settings.'

2. Tap 'Accounts & Sync' and tap the 'Add account' button. Tap the Microsoft Exchange account option. This option may also be labeled 'Corporate.'

3. Enter your EGroupware email address in the field labeled 'Email' and your password in the 'Password' field. Tap the 'Send email from this account by default' box if you want it to be your default account. Tap the 'Next' button.

4. Enter the your domain and username for your EGroupware email under the 'Domain\Username' field formatted as 'domainname\username' and your EGroupware server in the 'Server' field. Check the 'Use secure connection (SSL)' box and tap the 'Next' button.

5. Select 'Email Push' from the drop-down menu labeled 'Email checking frequency.' Choose an option from the 'Amount to sync' drop-down menu. Tap the boxes next to the options you want to enable. These can include using this as the default sending email account, receiving notifications on your Android, syncing contacts and syncing the calendar. Tap the 'Next' button.

6. Tap the 'Done' button and allow your EGroupware account to sync to your Android phone. This may take several minutes.
