How to Add Android Marketplace to Velocity Cruz

1. Open the Web browser on the Velocity Cruz and navigate to AppBrain's ES File Explorer webpage (link in Resources). Tap on the green 'Install' button to install the app on your Cruz.

2. Open the Web browser on your computer and download the 'G Tablet.zip' file (link in Resources). Save the archive on your desktop. Right-click on the archive and select the 'Extract Here' option to extract the archive on your desktop. A folder named 'G Tablet' is created.

3. Connect the SD card reader to your computer. Insert the SD card in the card reader and Windows will see it as an external storage device. It will appear as a new drive.

4. Copy the 'G Tablet' folder from your desktop to the root of the SD card. Insert the SD card in the Velocity Cruz device and perform three factory resets.

5. Open the 'ES File Explorer' app and use it to navigate to the root of the SD card. Go to the 'G Tablet' folder and open the 'app' folder. Install the 'Onetimeinitializer.apk,' 'Setupwizard.apk,' 'Googleservicesframework.apk' and 'Vending.apk' apps in this exact order. Do not, under any circumstances, open the 'Vending' application after you install it.

6. Restart the Velocity Cruze. Select the 'Use by default for this action' option in the 'Complete Action Using' window and press on the 'Launcher' option.

7. Launch the Android Market app.
