How to Install Android 2.3 on a Samsung Fascinate

1. Charge your Samsung Fascinate so that the battery is fully charged before you begin to install Android Gingerbread on the device. If your battery is not fully charged, the battery may die before the update is completed, which could corrupt the installation.

2. Unplug the Fascinate after it is fully charged.

3. Press the “Menu” button on your Samsung Fascinate.

4. Tap the “Settings” icon that appears on your Samsung Fascinate’s menu.

5. Move down the screen and tap the “About Phone” icon that appears on your Fascinate’s settings menu.

6. Tap the “System Updates” icon within your Samsung Fascinate’s “About Phone” section.
