Is There an Alternate F Chord for Baritone Ukulele?

F Major on a G-C-E-A Ukulele

The F major chord (or simply F) on a G-C-E-A ukulele is made by fretting the G string at the second fret and the E string at the first. The C and A strings are open.

On a D-G-B-E ukulele, the F chord is made by fretting the D string on the third fret, the G on the second, and the B and E strings on the first.

F major can be played in other positions on the neck. Fretting the D string on the seventh fret, the G and E on the fifth, and the B on the sixth will also produce an F major.

First Alternate on a G-C-E-A Ukulele

A higher-voiced F major can be played by fretting the G and E strings on the fifth fret and the A on the eighth, leaving the C open.

Second Alternate on a D-G-B-E Ukulele

Fretting the D on the third fret, the G and E on the fifth, and the B on the sixth will create an F major, too.
