How to Get Free Ringtones for My Droid

Download Ringtones

1. Access the Android Market. Tap the 'Market' icon on your Home screen or from your Droid's 'Application' menu.

2. Type 'free ringtones' into the Android Market's search engine and scroll through the results. Check the descriptions and reviews to find a ringtone application that is to your liking.

3. Download the application by clicking the 'Download' button, and then reviewing the application's permissions and tapping the 'Accept and Download' button. Allow the application to install automatically onto your Droid after download.

4. Access the application through your 'Application' menu and tap to open it. Search for the ringtone you want and set it as your ringtone per the instructions in the individual app.

5. Uninstall the ringtone app if you cannot find any free ringtones you like and repeat Steps 1 through 4 to find another application to download.

6. Open your Droid's music library.

7. Select your favorite song.

8. Press your 'Menu' key while the song is playing.

9. Tap 'Use as ringtone' to set that song as your Droid's ringtone.
