How to Pair a Bluetooth Stereo Headset With an Android Phone



1. Charge your Bluetooth headset and then press the 'Power' or 'Answer/End' button to turn it on.

2. Press and hold the 'Answer/End,' 'Power' or dedicated 'Pairing' button to put the device in pairing mode. The method to put your Bluetooth headset into pairing mode depends on the manufacturer. Refer to your user guide for exact instructions.

3. Press the 'Home' button on your Android phone.

4. Select 'Menu,' and then tap 'Settings.'

5. Tap 'Wireless & Networks,' and then select 'Bluetooth Settings.'

6. Tap 'Bluetooth' to turn it on. Your Android phone scans the area, then displays the Bluetooth headset's ID.

7. Tap the Bluetooth headset ID in the 'Found' list. If prompted, enter the pairing passkey. An example of a typical passkey is: '0000.' Refer to the user manual of the Bluetooth headset for the exact passkey. Your Bluetooth stereo headset and Android phone are now paired.
