How to Clear a Gmail Account Inbox on Android

1. Launch the Gmail application on your Android device.

2. Tap the check mark to the left of each message's subject. The check marks will turn green as you tap them and additional options will appear at the bottom of your screen. If you only want to delete a single message from your inbox, you can tap that message's subject to open the email instead.

3. Tap the 'Delete' button at the bottom of the screen.
