How to Sync an Android With Thunderbird

Sync Thunderbird and Gmail

1. Download gContactSync, an add-on for Thunderbird. Once you've downloaded it, launch Thunderbird, and then click 'Tools,' 'Addons,' and 'Install.'

2. Click the gContactSync file. Click 'Open,' then 'Install Now.' Restart Thunderbird.

3. Click 'Address Book' inside Thunderbird. Type in your Gmail user name and password, and then click 'OK.' A dialog box appears asking you to type in the name of your address book. Type in a name, and then click 'OK.' Your Gmail and Thunderbird contacts will be synced, meaning all of your Thunderbird contacts will appear in Gmail, and vice versa.
