How to Close Apps Backgrounding on an Android Phone

1. Press the 'Menu' button from the Android phone's main screen.

2. Touch 'Settings' and tap 'Applications.'

3. Touch 'Manage applications' and tap the 'Running' tab.

4. Locate a background app you want to close and touch it.

5. Tap 'Force stop' to close the application.
