How to Turn Off an Android Lock
1. Press your Android smartphone's 'Menu' button, which is located just below the LCD touchscreen. Tap the 'Settings' icon when it appears.
2. Move your finger up the touchscreen to scroll down the Settings Menu until you find Security or Location and Security, depending on what kind of Android device you have. Tap the 'Security' option.
3. Tap 'Require Pattern' to remove the check mark from it. You will be asked to enter the lock pattern for your device, after which your Android smartphone will no longer require a pattern to access it. If your device doesn't have the Require Pattern option, tap 'Change Screen Lock' at the top of the screen and enter in your pattern, PIN or password. Tap 'None' to remove the lock from your Android device.
