How to Upgrade an ATT Samsung Captivate to Android 2.2

1. Press the 'Home' button to go to the 'Home' screen. The 'Home' button has the image of a house on it.

2. Tap the 'Applications' shortcut, which is in the lower-right corner of the display and has the image of four squares on it.

3. Tap 'Settings,' and then 'Software update.'

4. Tap 'Check for update.' Checking may take a moment or two, and your phone will tell you whether or not there is an available update.

5. Tap 'OK' to either begin downloading and installing an update or to acknowledge that your phone is already up-to-date.
