How to Connect a Hotmail to Google for an Android



1. Tap the 'Mail' icon on the home-screen of your Google Android device.

2. Tap the 'Menu' option, select 'More' and then tap the 'New Account' option.

3. Select the 'Other (POP3/IMAP)' option and tap 'Manual Setup.'

4. Select 'POP' from the 'Protocol' drop-down menu.

5. Enter your Hotmail address in the 'Email Address' field and the 'Username' field.

6. Enter the password associated with your Hotmail account in the 'Password' field.

7. Enter 'pop3.live.com' in the 'POP Server' field.

8. Select 'SSL' from the 'Security' drop-down menu.

9. Enter '995' in the 'Server Port' field.

10. Click the 'Next' button.

11. Enter your Hotmail email address and password in the 'Username' and 'Password' fields.

12. Enter 'smtp.live.com' in the 'SMTP server' field.

13. Select 'TLS' from the 'Security type' drop-down menu.

14. Enter '587' in the 'Server port' field.

15. Click the 'Next' button to complete the setup process for your Hotmail using your Google Android phone.
