How to Hide Applications on an Android Phone

1. Press the Home button so that you're looking at your Android phone's home screen.

2. Swipe either left or right to the appropriate screen where the application is located.

3. Hold your finger down on the application. After about one second, a trash can icon will appear at the bottom of the screen.

4. Keep your finger pressed down on the icon and drag the icon from its location to the trash can. This does not delete the application from your phone, but it hides it from the home screen.
