How to Program Bluetooth on an Android

Find Bluetooth Application

Find the Bluetooth application on your phone, or download the free application from the Android Market. Most Android phones come with the Bluetooth application already installed.

Turn on Bluetooth Application

Turn the Bluetooth application on by sliding the bar on the widget to the 'on' position or through the settings menu.

Turn on Device

Turn on the Bluetooth device. Make sure the device has been charged in advance.

Connect Phone and Bluetooth

Pair the devices. On the phone, select 'Settings,' then select 'Wireless and networks,' and select 'Bluetooth settings' to link the devices. Select the option to pair the devices. This may take several minutes as the Bluetooth device and phone connect.

Use the Bluetooth to Talk

Talk using the Bluetooth device. Press the speaker button on the Bluetooth to make and receive calls.
