How to Use an Android Without a Data Plan on Verizon

1. Press the power button on the back of the Xoom until the screen turns on.

2. Tap 'Start.' The Xoom attempts to connect to Verizon's network. Tap 'Skip' to stop it and go to the Wi-Fi setup screen.

3. Tap a Wi-Fi network from the list of available networks. If necessary, enter the password for the network. Tap 'Next' when the Xoom connects.

4. Enter your Google account username and password. Tap 'OK.' You are now ready to use your Android device without a Verizon data plan.
