How to Install an SDC File

Install Microsoft SDC File

1. Open a Web browser, and navigate to the site where the SDC file can be downloaded.

2. Click the “Download” link to download the SDC file.

3. Click the “Run” option, versus saving the file to your hard drive, when prompted. The SDC file is unpacked automatically, once downloaded. The files in the SDC archive are installed to the computer and the SDC file is deleted.

4. Right-click on the SDC file to show the context menu.

5. Click “Open With” from the context menu. A list of programs opens.

6. Scroll to and click on the “OpenOffice.org Spreadsheet” option. The SDC spreadsheet file opens in OpenOffice.org Spreadsheet.
