Steps to Fix an MMS

1. Remove the battery from your Virgin Mobile phone. Do not turn off the phone prior to removing the battery. Replace the battery after one minute and ask a friend to send you an MMS message.

2. Press the 'Menu' key on your phone while it is on the standby screen. Highlight and select 'Settings.' Select 'Phone Info' and highlight 'Update Phone.' Depending on the model of your phone, you may need to scroll down and highlight the 'Version' field to update the phone. Press the 'OK' key, and wait for any updates to download and install on your phone. Ask a friend to send you an MMS message.

3. Press the 'Menu' key from the phone's standby screen. Select 'Settings' and highlight 'Network.' Click on 'OK,' and select 'Data.' If data is disabled, change the setting to 'Enabled,' and press the 'OK' to save your changes. Ask a friend to send an MMS message to you.

4. Press the 'Menu' key while on the phone's standby screen, and select 'Security.' Enter your phone's lock code when prompted. By default, the lock code is the last four digits of the mobile number. Select 'Reset Phone.' Enter your lock code again to confirm you want to reset the phone. The phone should power off and back on. Ask a friend to send you an MMS message.
