The SG7555B is a wired camera that features weatherproof housing, a 50-foot infrared range, 24 onboard LED lights, one-way audio functionality, 480 lines of resolution and a 60-foot cable. It costs around $130 for a single unit. The LDC6050 is a wireless camera with weatherproof housing, a 30-foot infrared range, 12 LEDs and 600 lines of resolution. It costs around $330 per unit. Though they are different in terms of specifications and intended use, video captured by either camera can be accessed via a smartphone or tablet running Android, provided that video is stored on a Lorex Mobile Edge or Mobile Eco digital video recorder.

Software - Lorex Mobile Edge

Lorex Mobile Edge is an application designed to help you use your Android device to view live, full-screen video being recorded to a Lorex’s Edge, Edge Mini or Edge Plus digital video recorders. Lorex Mobile Edge is a free download that’s 507KB and requires a smartphone or tablet computer running Android 2.0 or later. In addition to a Lorex camera and DVR, you’ll need to connect your DVR to an Internet router with a high-speed connection.

Software - Lorex Mobile Eco

Lorex Mobile Eco is an alternative to Lorex Mobile Edge designed for cameras attached to Lorex Eco LH118, LH116 or LH114 digital video recorders. Like Lorex Mobile Edge, Lorex Mobile Eco lets you view live streaming surveillance camera video on your Android-powered smartphone or tablet computer. Lorex Mobile Eco is a free download that’s 427KB and requires a device running Google Android 1.5 or later.
