How to Turn Off Auto Updates on a Motorola Droid

1. Tap the 'Market' icon on the Droid's home screen to bring up the Android Marketplace.

2. Tap the phone's Menu button to bring up the Android Marketplace menu. Tap the 'Downloads' option in the Marketplace menu to view the applications downloaded onto the device.

3. Tap the 'Allow automatic updates' option to remove the checkbox from the option.
