How to Import Live Video to an Android Phone
Qik
1. Visit qik.com, and click 'Create an Account' to start a new account with the streaming video service.
2. Download Qik from the Android Market on your smartphone. Install and launch Qik for Android.
3. Connect a camera to a USB drive on your computer. Click 'Go Live' at the bottom of the Qik interface to start uploading a live video stream of what you record with your camera.
4. Log in to Qik for Android using your Qik Account information. Tap the live video feed on your account to stream the recording to your Android. Alternatively, enter the URL of any Qik video stream in a browser address bar to view that stream. Receive Qik URLs from your online social network or from qik.com.
Ustream
5. Visit ustream.tv to create an account. Download and install Ustream Viewer on your Android phone.
6. Log into Ustream on a desktop computer, and connect a video camera to a USB port on the computer. Click 'Video Source,' and choose 'USB Camera' as your source.
7. Click 'Broadcast Now' to stream your video recording live on your Ustream account.
8. Launch Ustream Viewer on your Android phone. Log in using your Ustream username and password. Tap the live video stream to play it in Ustream Viewer.
