Is There an App for MMS on an Unactivated Android?

Handcent SMS

Handcenter SMS is an application that allows you to send SMS and MMS messages to your contacts on an unactivated Android phone. When you select a picture or video to send from your phone, Handcent appears as an option for sharing the media file. In addition to MMS capabilities, the app also offers customizable themes, support in 20 languages and backup for all outgoing and incoming messages.

FunForMobile SMS

The free app FunForMobile SMS offers MMS messaging for pictures stored in your phone's gallery. The app allows you to share pictures, videos and voice notes from your phone. After downloading the app, you also have access to a library of images shared by other FunForMobile users. If you need to send a large media file, it will appear as a link to a downloadable file. The app also offers the ability to set a customizable notification sound and pop-up for received messages.

PingerTextfree

PingerTextfree provides you with a 10-digit phone number that you can give out to friends and family to receive MMS messages. The application also offers the ability to open a chat with your Facebook contacts. When you receive a new chat message, a notification message will be displayed on your phone. After registering for a free account, you can log into your account online and send and retrieve text and MMS messages from your computer.

WhatsApp Messenger

The WhatsApp Messenger displays new messages in an instant messaging format on your Android phone. Your friends will receive messages in the normal texting format, but yours are organized in an easy-to-view format. If your friends download and install the application on their phone, you can take advantage of the group chat feature. You do not need to register for an account to use the app. The application stays connected as long as there is an active Wi-Fi connection.
