How to Install a Custom Android OTA

1. Open the application screen on your Android device and touch 'Market.'

2. Tap the magnifying glass icon at the top of the screen and enter 'ROM Manager.'

3. Touch the 'ROM Manager' application. There are two versions. The free version has ads and fewer ROMs. The paid version has no ads and some premium ROM files.

4. Touch 'Download' if you are using the free version, or the price button if you choose to install the paid version.

5. Touch 'Accept & download' to install the software. Tap 'Open' to launch ROM Manager once the download is finished.

6. Touch 'Download ROM' to display a list of ROM files that are compatible with your Android device.

7. Tap the ROM file you want to install, then touch the version number. Some ROMs have multiple versions. If the ROM has 'RC' in the name, it means the ROM is a release candidate and may not be stable.

8. Touch 'Download' to download the ROM file. The software will ask if you want to create a backup file of your existing ROM and wipe the data and cache. Check the boxes and click 'OK' twice.

9. Wait for the Android device to reboot. After the reboot, you will see a text screen with a progress bar. When the progress bar is done, the phone will reboot with your custom OTA ROM.
