Security

The Motorola Stature features security options to protect and secure your phone data. Security features prevent others from looking at information on your phone if the device is ever lost or stolen. To enable the security features, press the 'Menu' button and scroll down to 'Security.' Select 'Phone Lock.' Choose to lock the phone at the present time or have the phone lock automatically on its own. You will need to select 'Unlock Phone' to access the phone in the future. This feature also is valuable to prevent your phone from dialing calls while lying in your pocket or purse. You can create a four-digit SIM pin to use to gain access to your phone. To enable this features, press 'Menu,' then select 'Security' and press 'SIM PIN.' With the exception of calling 911, you will not be permitted to make any phone calls while your device is locked.

Calling Features

Calling features such as call waiting, three-way calling and auto-answer are options on the Motorola i9. The call waiting feature allows you to continue to receive calls at the same time you are on the phone with a call. Three-way calling lets you communicate with two different callers on one phone conversation. The auto-answer feature enables the phone to automatically answer phone calls when a headset or Bluetooth earpiece is connected. This feature is useful when driving because it allows you to make and answer calls hands-free while operating your vehicle.

Other Features

Your phone can be used as a clock and a planner with included applications such as the alarm clock, stopwatch, timer and datebook. Each of these tools come preinstalled on the phone. The alarm clock, stopwatch and timer are located in the 'Games and Apps' section.
