How to Upgrade an Android Phone

1. Press your phone's power button. Slide the unlock tab down or to the right to unlock the phone. Press the 'Home' button.

2. Press the 'Menu' button, and then tap 'Settings.' Scroll down to the bottom of the list and tap 'About phone.'

3. Tap 'System updates.' Tap 'Install' if you see an available update. Wait for the install to download; this could take an hour or more.

4. Tap 'Restart & Install.' Put your phone down and wait for it to completely restart. Do not touch the 'Power' button or remove the battery.
