How to Connect the AndroidVNC to TightVNC

1. Configure your router to allow port forwarding and anonymous access. The process to do this depends on the model and brand of router you use. In general, look for these options under a security menu and an applications menu.

2. Open a Web browser on your computer and go to Google.com. Type 'whats my IP' in the search field and press 'Enter.' Google displays your computer's public IP address at the top of the search results. Write this number down.

3. Start 'TightVNC Server' on your computer and run the program in either Application or Service mode.

4. Go to the Android Market on your Android device. Type 'AndroidVNC' in the search field, then tap 'android-vnc-viewer' and 'Install.'

5. Press the 'Home' button when the app finishes installing. Go to your Android Apps menu and tap 'android-vnc-viewer.'

6. Enter your TightVNC primary password in the Password field. Leave the Nickname field blank. Enter your computer's public IP address in the Address field.

7. Tap 'Connect.'
