Transferring Apps to a new iPhone

1. Open iTunes on the computer and click on 'Store,' then 'Authorize this computer.'When prompted, enter the user credentials for the account used to install Apps on the old iPhone, then click 'Authorize.'

2. Connect the old iPhone to the computer using the connection cable. Once connected, iTunes will prompt for updates or back-ups to be performed. Don't do any of these.

3. Select the old iPhone icon, which should have appeared in the iTunes sidebar. Right-click on it and select 'Transfer Purchases.' This will copy the Apps to iTunes.

4. Eject the old iPhone from the cable when the sync is complete and connect the new iPhone.

5. Go to the 'Applications' tab for the iPhone. This will display all the Apps that have just been transferred from the old iPhone.Select the Apps that are to be transferred to the new iPhone and click on 'Sync' to complete the transfer.
