How to Backup an Android Phone on Google Cloud
1. Press the home icon button on your phone. Press the list icon button then tap 'Settings' on the touchscreen.
2. Scroll down to 'Privacy' then put a check next to 'Back up My Data' to enable Google Cloud backup. Put a check next to 'Automatic Restore' if you want Google to push the backed up data to a new phone when you sign in with your Google username and password.
3. Press the back button twice to exit out of the 'Settings' menu. The data will take several minutes to backup the information. Not every application will backup through the Google Cloud, but those that are made by Google and those using the Google Cloud backup coding will save data to the Google servers. The backup will restore your contacts, Wi-Fi passwords, Internet bookmarks, words added to your keyboard dictionary and a list of the applications installed on your phone.
